Our subsidiary property Medica Hospital collaborated with Diabetes Society of The Maldives conducted a free diabetes screening and information on 07 April 2019, in which more than 100+ people were screened and given advice on building a healthier lifestyle.
The event held was open to the general public in which companies, outpatients and staff of Medica Hospital, Damas Company Pvt Ltd, Intal Hotel s and Anti-corruption commission employees were covered. Further to screening, Diabetes Society of The Maldives provided Information on diabetes, blood glucose testing, BP measuring, measuring of BMI and waist and also one on one consultation from doctors and educators based on the screened results.
